St. Bernard waltzed into their game  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Notre Dame Prep Saints with  points to spare, taking the game  62-47. The  victory was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage  in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 68th in California, while the Saints are ranked fourth in Arizona).
 St. Bernard's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Josh Palmer, who  went 5 of 10  on his way to 14  points and eight  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Preston Ezewiro, who  went 7 of 12  on his way to 17  points.
St. Bernard has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record  this season. As for Notre Dame Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
 St. Bernard has already played their next contest,  a  70-62  defeat against Canarsie on the 31st. As for Notre Dame Prep, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  68-47  victory against Atascocita on the 31st.
