Las Plumas came tearing into Thursday's match with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Live Oak Lions as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Thunderbirds, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Adalyna Medrano was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Kendal Headley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Las Plumas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Live Oak only posted an OBP of .333.

Las Plumas pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
