Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pueblo West). They blew past the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans, posting a 59-30 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cyclones have posted since February 16, 2024.

Pueblo West's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rebekah Seggerman, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Collins, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Despite the loss, Fountain-Fort Carson still got an impressive performance from Dissani Lynch, who went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and four steals. Sahriah Smith was another key player, putting up six points.

Pueblo West's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-8. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Pueblo West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-46 win against Liberty on the 31st. Fountain-Fort Carson has also already played their next contest, a 41-38 loss against Vista Ridge on the 1st.
