Basketball Recap: Sidney Takes a Loss

Sidney lost against Custer County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sidney Eagles took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Custer County Cowboys. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Custer County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will take on Havre at 4:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Custer County, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dawson County at 6:00 p.m. Dawson County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Custer County likes a good challenge.
