Basketball Recap: Amite County Comes Up Short

Amite County came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 55-31 to the Loyd Star Hornets. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Amite County's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Loyd Star, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.
