Baseball Game Preview: Clintondale Dragons vs. Center Line Panthers

The Clintondale Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Center Line Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Clintondale has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Clintondale came up short against Mott on Wednesday, falling 13-5.

Blake Grime was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Jordan Pruett was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Center Line and Hazel Park have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Cruz Santiago made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.

Clintondale's record is now 1-3. As for Center Line, their record now sits at 2-6.
