Recap: Covenant Christian vs. Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-41, which was the final score in Covenant Christian's tilt against Greater Beckley Christian on Saturday. Covenant Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Averyk Woodson, who scored 22 points along with two steals for Greater Beckley Christian. Woodson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Kincaid, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Covenant Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greater Beckley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Covenant Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greater Beckley Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against James Monroe at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
