Volleyball Preview: Highland Fighting Scots vs. Worthington Christian Warriors        
        
		
             The Highland Fighting Scots will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Worthington Christian Warriors at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Highland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Saturday. They put the hurt on Horizon Science Academy with a sharp  3-0 win.
 The  3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Highland was: they took every set by at least 20 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-5,  25-4.
 Among those leading the charge was   MaKaylee Merckling, who  had nine  digs and five  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in October of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of  Faith Gantz, who  had five  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Highland  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 29  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 23 consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Worthington Christian and River Valley met for a duel  on Saturday where Worthington Christian came out on top. Worthington Christian had just enough and edged River Valley out  3-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Warriors.
 Worthington Christian took River Valley into a fifth set  where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 23-25,  15-8.
 Highland pushed their record up to 18-5 with the  victory, which was their 15th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Worthington Christian, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record  this season.
