Basketball Recap: Luke Jones Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

Plaza Heights Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Jones, who posted ten points along with seven boards and five steals. Jones is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed five or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Atticus McMurray was another key player, putting up eight points.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Overland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plaza Heights Christian Academy will face off against Applewood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Overland Christian, they will take on Christian Learning Center at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. This will be the Eagle's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
