Softball Recap: Grosse Ile Comes Up Short

Grosse Ile fell victim to Airport and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Jets, falling 11-0. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Jets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Grosse Ile's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Airport, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Jets beat Grosse Ile by a score of 11-0 later that day.
