Aliquippa won the last time they faced West Allegheny and things went their way on Friday too. The Quips walked away with a 19-7 win over the Indians. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Quips' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Indians are ranked 169th).

Aliquippa was led to victory by Jj Work and Qa'Lil Goode. Work rushed for 72 yards and one TD, while Goode picked up 36 receiving yards and one score.

Aliquippa is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for West Allegheny, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
