Volleyball Recap: Stanley County Takes a Loss

The Stanley County Buffalos didn't have quite enough to beat the Gettysburg Battlers on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Buffalos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Stanley County wouldn't go down easily and took Gettysburg into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 22-25, 23-25, 15-10.

Stanley County's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Gettysburg, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Stanley County is taking a road trip to face off against Crow Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gettysburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sunshine Bible Academy on the 27th.
