Volleyball Game Preview: Legacy Leopards vs. Abilene Eagles

Legacy hasn't had much luck against Abilene recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Leopards will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m.

Legacy came up short against Wylie on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Abilene had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cooper on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since August 23rd.

Abilene was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 24-26, 22-25, 25-17, 15-13.

Abilene's win bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-26.
