Baseball Recap: Northwest Webster Takes a Loss

Northwest Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in July of 2024.

Northwest Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for West Bend-Mallard, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Northwest Webster didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-7 loss against Alta-Aurelia on the 20th. As for West Bend-Mallard, they have also already played their next match, an 8-1 defeat against Emmetsburg on the 20th.
