Highland hadn't beaten Taft on the road since September 6, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Scots came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Scots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Highland not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Taft between 19 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19.

The win made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 10-8-3. As for Taft, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Eastside on the 13th. As for Taft, they are taking a road trip to challenge McFarland at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
