Recap: Madison/Carrabec/Valley vs. Hampden Broncos
This season hasn't been kind to The Madison/Carrabec/Valley , who are still winless after their eighth match. They were beaten by Hampden 49-8 on Friday. Madison/Carrabec/Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hampden apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hampden to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Coffin, who rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Hampden also got a significant boost from Gabe Thornwall, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.
Madison/Carrabec/Valley's defeat was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for Hampden, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
