Recap: Easley Green Wave vs. Berea Bulldogs
There's no place like home for the Easley Green Wave, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They breezed by Berea at home to the tune of 70-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Easley has posted since December 18, 2023.
Easley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Proctor, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Olivia Gramblin was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Easley's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Berea, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easley will take on Westside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westside is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games. As for Berea, they will head out on the road to face off against Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pickens presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Berea in South Carolina (Pickens is ranked 11th, while Berea is ranked 184th).
