Soccer Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

Spring Valley managed to keep up with West Florence until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Vikings came up short against the Knights, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Florence this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Spring Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for West Florence, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Spring Valley has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Sumter on the 4th. As for West Florence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Lugoff-Elgin on the 4th.
