Basketball Game Preview: Faith Christian Eagles vs. Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors

The Faith Christian Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Faith Christian took a 37-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodland Baptist Christian. The matchup marked Faith Christian's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Faith Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from Levi Brown, who posted six points and six boards. Brown also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Asheboro Hybrid Academy played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Cresset Christian Academy 68-22. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.

Asheboro Hybrid Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Faith Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Things could have been worse for Faith Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 79-60 loss to Asheboro Hybrid Academy in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
