Basketball Game Preview: West Grand Mustangs vs. Hayden Tigers

The West Grand Mustangs will challenge the Hayden Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Grand's defense has only allowed 25.8 points per game this season, so Hayden's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Wednesday, West Grand lost to Rangely at home by a 51-35 margin.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hayden, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Caprock Academy 44-20 on Friday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

West Grand's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 17-3. As for Hayden, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
