Football Game Preview: Butler County Bears vs. Edmonson County Wildcats

Butler County and Edmonson County are an even 3-3 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Butler County came up short against Larue County on Friday, falling 44-18. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Edmonson County came up short against Hart County on Friday and fell 22-14. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Edmonson County's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Butler County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Butler County against Edmonson County when the teams last played back in August of 2022, as the squad secured a 35-6 victory. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
