Basketball Recap: Waterloo Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tripoli last Friday, Waterloo Christian came back down to earth. The Waterloo Christian Regents were dealt a 65-23 loss at the hands of the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies on Monday. The Regents were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Waterloo Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Nashua-Plainfield, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9.

Waterloo Christian has already played their next game, a 50-30 defeat against Clarksville on the 4th. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they will square off against West Fork at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
