Volleyball Recap: Dugger Union Comes Up Short

Dugger Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Martinsville Bluestreaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluestreaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Dugger Union's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Martinsville, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Dugger Union will head out on the road to face off against Vincennes Rivet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martinsville, they will welcome Chrisman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
