Dundalk got themselves on the board against Kenwood on Monday, but Kenwood never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bluebirds. The result was nothing new for the Owls, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Julie Burger made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Burger was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Dundalk let Alessa Sergi and Hayden Wiatrowski run wild. Sergi went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while Wiatrowski went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Sergi a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carlie Locklear, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Dundalk always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Dundalk's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.
