When it comes to explaining why Vistamar lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Hill. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. Hill has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Sebastian Eckstein was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Hawthorne Math & Science Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Vistamar, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
