After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Minneola, Mount Dora was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Ridge Knights a 19-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 back in February.

Mount Dora is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.3 points on average over those games. East Ridge moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Mount Dora will head out to face off against Tavares at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Dora is facing Tavares at the right time seeing as Tavares is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for East Ridge, they will square off against Eustis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
