McLean is 1-9 against Yorktown since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Highlanders will look to defend their home field against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. McLean will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

McLean's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christian McNeill led the charge by throwing for 299 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt. McLean's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Yorktown, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
McLean was dealt a bruising 39-7 loss at the hands of Yorktown in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Highlanders were down 36-0.
