Baseball Recap: Clark Takes a Loss

If Clark was riding high fresh off their 23-5 takedown of SA Roosevelt last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the Reagan Rattlers by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Rattlers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Tyler Hummel was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs marked the first that he launched this season.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Reagan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-7-2 record this season.

While Clark had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
