Football Recap: West Muskingum Takes a Loss

West Muskingum's last matchup with New Lexington could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Tornadoes lost 33-7 to the Panthers. The Tornadoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-0.

West Muskingum is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for New Lexington, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, West Muskingum will face off against River View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes will be up against the Black Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for New Lexington, they will challenge Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
