Soccer Game Preview: Neenah vs. Kimberly

The Neenah Rockets are taking a road trip to challenge the Kimberly Papermakers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Neenah is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Sheboygan North on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Kimberly entered their tilt with River Falls on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats. Three seems to be a good number for Kimberly as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Kimberly's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. Neenah's draw makes their record 2-3-1 this season.

Neenah suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Kimberly in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
