Baseball Recap: Ticonderoga Wins Going Away Against Northern Adirondack

Ticonderoga's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Dom Crossman made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jordan Brown, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Jackson Dorsett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Ticonderoga always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northern Adirondack only posted an OBP of .276.

Ticonderoga's record is now 4-2. As for Northern Adirondack, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ticonderoga beat the Bobcats by a score of 26-2 on Thursday.
