After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Skyline finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Head Tigers. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Valley Head, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Skyline will challenge Brindlee Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Valley Head will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ider at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st.
