Hamilton posted their closest win since September 3rd on Wednesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Cato-Meridian Blue Devils 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Emerald Knights in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Hamilton got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 28-26, 20-25, 15-4.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Cato-Meridian, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hamilton is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Ludden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cato-Meridian will face off against rival Hannibal at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
