Football Game Recap: Corsica/Stickney vs. Burke/South Central

After having lost a blowout to Colome in their previous game, Burke/South Central were happy to find some success on Friday. Burke/South Central got past Corsica/Stickney with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 26-22. Corsica/Stickney can consider this payback for the 0-48 defeat they dealt Burke/South Central the last time the teams encountered one another.

The win bumped Burke/South Central's record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Corsica/Stickney's record to 1-2.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Burke/South Central will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian. Corsica/Stickney will stay at home against Scotland at 7:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory.
