Softball Game Preview: West Lutheran Warriors vs. Legacy Christian Academy Lions

West Lutheran is 7-1 against Legacy Christian Academy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will face off against the Lions at 4:15 p.m. West Lutheran's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Legacy Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

West Lutheran came up short against Southwest Christian on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy fell victim to Spectrum and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 24-0 to the Sting. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Sting recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Lutheran, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2.

Everything went West Lutheran's way against Legacy Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as West Lutheran made off with a 19-1 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
