Cumberland is 9-1 against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cumberland Pirates will take on the Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans at 5:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Even though Cumberland has not done well against Unity Christian recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Cumberland really took it to Unity Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-21 victory at home. That looming 61-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Cumberland yet this season.

Kelby Bierman was on fire: he scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Mcmechan, who scored nine points along with two steals.

Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] posted their closest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They skirted past Heritage 53-50.

Cumberland's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], their victory bumped their record up to 4-16.

Cumberland was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] in their previous meeting on January 5th, winning 50-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cumberland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
