Softball Recap: Calhoun Academy Cavaliers vs. Orangeburg Prep Indians
The home team had won the previous two meetings between Calhoun Academy and Orangeburg Prep, and Orangeburg Prep kept the tradition alive. The Cavaliers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Thursday. In other batting news, Sara Marshall Covington and Sherrilynn Shannon did some serious damage despite the final result: Covington went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI, while Shannon went 1-for-3 with one home run.
