The University Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Fountain Valley Barons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. University is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.

University saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Huntington Beach by a score of 55-52. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Isaac Evans, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. His afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Pretto, who scored four points plus five assists and five rebounds.

Even though they lost, University smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Fountain Valley beat Poly 63-51 last Saturday. The 63-point effort marked the Barons' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

University's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fountain Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
