Baseball Recap: Raleigh Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Raleigh can now relate to. They fell 10-7 to the Bogue Chitto Bobcats on Friday. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Damonta Keyes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Eli Eason was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Bogue Chitto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

As of now, neither Raleigh nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
