Football Recap: Hull Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Shore Vo-Tech, Hull was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monomoy Sharks a 13-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Pirates were the (much) better team in the second half.

Hull's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Monomoy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Hull will challenge Boston English/New Mission at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Monomoy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bourne at 6:00 p.m. on October 3.
