Kennett and Notre Dame are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Indians will challenge the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennett is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Kennett didn't have quite enough to beat Dyer County and fell 6-5.

Kennett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Gilmore, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. John Baker Brown also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Dexter 6-4.

Kennett now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 7-9-1.

Kennett couldn't quite finish off Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
