Basketball Recap: Lyman Gets the Win

Lyman won the last time they faced Mount Dora and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lyman Greyhounds came out on top against the Mount Dora Hurricanes by a score of 65-53.

Mount Dora lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaleel Jackson, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Brinson, who had five points and four steals.

Lyman's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Mount Dora, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Lyman has already played their next game, a 52-40 defeat against Lake Howell on the 29th. As for Mount Dora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-52 win against Crooms Academy on the 30th.
