Softball Recap: Sonora Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sonora's offense. They came up short against the Ripon Indians on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sonora's record is now 4-13. As for Ripon, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Ripon will welcome Escalon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Sonora will be paying especially close attention to Ripon's matchup: after Ripon faces off against Hilmar, they'll take on Sonora again at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st.
