Softball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur lost against Irving last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-1. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15-1. As for Irving, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur will challenge rival Richardson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Irving is set to square off against their familiar foe Berkner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
