Soccer Game Preview: Foxborough vs. Milford

The Foxborough Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Milford Scarlet Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Foxborough's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Foxborough managed to slip by North Attleborough the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Rocketeers on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Milford brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Taunton on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Milford's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Taunton are ranked 271st).

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-6. As for Foxborough, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
