Recap: Hill-Murray Pioneers vs. Two Rivers Warriors
The Hill-Murray Pioneers won the last time they faced the Two Rivers Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Hill-Murray enjoyed a cozy 60-43 win over Two Rivers. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hill-Murray.
Despite the loss, Two Rivers still got an impressive performance from Gabi Kirchner, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Kirchner hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Amundson, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Hill-Murray's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Two Rivers, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.
Hill-Murray will be playing at home against North at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully North focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Tuesday. As for Two Rivers, they will head out on the road to face off against Mahtomedi at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mahtomedi has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 356 points over their last five games.
