Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Shelby Coyotes get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The Scotties might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Brynn Donaldson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Donaldson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Berkley Hillman was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Martin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in four consecutive contests.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua's record is now 8-4. As for Shelby, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua has already played their next match (against Cut Bank), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shelby, they will head out to face off against Shepherd at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
