Baseball Recap: Lee Williams Takes a Loss

Lee Williams suffered their closest loss since February 28th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bradshaw Mountain Bears by a score of 6-4. The Volunteers haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Lee Williams saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Litos Rascon, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Cain Massey was another, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Lee Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

While Lee Williams had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
