Baseball Recap: LEAP Academy Takes a Loss

If LEAP Academy was feeling good fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Lindenwold on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers came up short against the Pemberton Hornets on Friday, falling 25-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Lancers were not able to get on the board.

LEAP Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Pemberton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LEAP Academy will face off against Cape May County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pemberton, they will take on Holy Cross at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
