Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denair). They blew past the Delhi Hawks 11-1 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Coyotes considering their two-run performance the match before.

Noah Lundquist was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Lundquist was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Denair is 4-0-1 when Lundquist posts two or more runs, but 4-7 otherwise.

In other batting news, Valente Rosales was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Hart, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Denair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Denair pushed their record up to 8-7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Delhi, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.
